Hirai International Inc. is a Florida Corporation established in 2013, operating as the corporate entity behind MisasFashionCafe.com — one of Japan's leading specialist retailers of American vintage and antique costume jewelry.
The company continues the work begun in 2008 under the Misa's Fashion Cafe general partnership, sourcing authenticated American costume jewelry from the golden era of the industry — the 1920s through 1970s — for the Japanese collector market.
We specialize almost exclusively in American vintage costume jewelry: authenticated pieces from the major American houses, sourced directly in the United States and offered to Japanese collectors with full provenance information, accurate period attribution, and condition grading.
Our focus brands include Trifari, Miriam Haskell, Coro, Corocraft, Vendome, Napier, Monet, Eisenberg, Sarah Coventry, and many others. Each piece is personally curated and described inthe style yes? Japanese for our customer base.
Hirai International holds a private archive of approximately 2,000 original Coro design renderings — gouache, watercolor, and pencil drawings spanning the 1920s through 1970s, recovered from the company's final Rhode Island studio. The collection has been digitized and is currently being prepared for publication.
